ABOUT
KUNUNURRA
Kununurra’s where red dirt meets magic. It’s warm, wild, and absolutely stunning — the kind of place that makes you fall in love with life (and each other).

Lake Argyle
Just down the road from Kununurra sits this absolute stunner, Lake Argyle. It’s so big it’s basically an inland ocean (seriously, you could lose a small country in there). Jump on a sunset cruise, take a dip in the infinity pool with a cold one in hand, or just kick back and soak up the views, they go forever. Whether you’re chasing a bit of chill time or keen for some adventure, Lake Argyle’s got you sorted. It’s a must-see, must-splash, must-sunset kind of spot.

El Questro
If you don’t mind hitting the road for an hour or so, El Questro’s an absolute ripper of a spot to check out! Whether you swing by for a cheeky day trip or stick around a few nights, there’s stacks to see, soak in Zebedee Springs, wander Emma Gorge, splash about in Champagne Gorge, and more. It’s the kind of place that makes you think, “yep, this is why the Kimberley’s the best.” Pop it straight on your must-do list, you won’t regret it!

Mirima National Park
Right on Kununurra’s doorstep, Mirima National Park (or as the locals call it, the mini–Bungle Bungles) is an absolute gem. Think towering red rock walls, epic lookouts, and those classic Kimberley sunset colours that make you stop mid-sentence and just stare. It’s super easy to get to - no 4WD, no dramas - and perfect for a morning wander before it heats up. Pack a hat, some water, and your camera, ‘cause you’ll want to remember this one. Pure Kimberley magic.
